DAY 1 ARRIVE AUCKLAND
On arrival you pick up your reserved vehicle from Thrifty Car hire. After rental formalities are completed you drive to excellent and well positioned Scenic Circle Airedale Hotel. The rest of the day is free to look around the "City of Sails ".
DAY 2 GOLF AT MURIWAI LINKS
This morning’s round of golf is out on the rugged West Coast at Muriwai Links Golf Club. A scenic 45 minute drive will take you out to this hidden gem and its stunning coastline position. The layout features very large undulating greens that are always in great condition and fairways dotted with black sand pot bunkers giving the course a real “British Open” look.
After golf you can relax in the friendly clubhouse or take a quick drive up to the road to view the amazingly beautiful and famous gannet colony at the top of the headland.
DAY 3 GOLF AT GULF HARBOUR
The 50 minute drive North to Gulf Harbour takes you over the Auckland Harbour Bridge to the scenic Hibiscus Coast where the Gulf Harbour Golf Resort, Marina and Village are located. The golf course in designed by Robert Trent Jones II, one of the leading designers in golf architecture today and features spectacular views over the Hauraki Gulf. The 1998 World Cup of Golf was played here and both Colin Montgomerie and Nick Faldo where openly impressed with the spectacular layout.
DAY 4 DEPART AUCKLAND
Depending on your departure time there can be an optional round of golf at the excellent Grange Golf Club. Other options are the shopping and sightseeing available in the Downtown Auckland area. If finishing your tour here you drop you vehicle you depart Auckland International Airport today in preparation for your departure.
